A Major Design Break-Through
We sought out to build the ultimate hutch for the rabbit doe and her litter or any size rabbit. The spacious interior provides extra space not seen in any other rabbit cages on the market. The slant-front is the perfect ergonomic shape for the keeper allowing easy reach into all corners of the hutch for cleaning and access. Easier reach means the cage is easier to keep clean, plus, with the innovative lift-out feature, the cage removes instantly for power washing on a regular basis. Compared to traditional style cages, the Nurture series takes a fraction of the time to maintain to a healthy sanitary standard. The single level design is a low-density solution which has been proven to decrease humidity and enhancing rabbit air quality and health. The design exceeds USDA and EU standards.
Spacious Comfort
Firstly, the spacious design is one of the largest single compartment rabbit enclosures made. The full 48" width and 24" height provide spacious comfort for the doe and her litter. Rabbits of all ages can make normal postural adjustments, natural exercise, fully stretching on hind legs and jumping.
Integral Shelf
A 10" wide integral jump shelf runs the length of the cage allowing the doe to exercise and rest from the active kits, below. A spanning, sturdy support beam provides strength for the largest of rabbits.
Sub-terrestrial Nest (included)
The included sub-terrestrial nest box follows from the natural instinct of burrowing quadrupeds. Kits can find their way back to the nest and are able to access it. A 4" drop prevents the kits form leaving the nest prematurely. The top has locking latches and completely swings out of the way for easy access. In extreme heat, the nest can be closed off from the doe during the day with the top left open while the kits are young. The nest floor can be outfitted with a cardboard insert for winter insulation.
Integrated Feeder (included)
A 9.5" Siftomatic™ feeder is included, providing trough space for an entire litter. Positioned at the proper height, the feeder prevents digging and wasted feed. The perforated bottom reduces the build-up of fines or feed dust. The feeder is equipped with our flip lid for quick access and to keep out dew and moisture.
Lift-Out Design For Easy Cleaning
Our exclusive feature: The wire cage portion instantly lifts out of the stand for quick pressure washing! No tool required. This feature alone is reason enough to use the Nurture series when you want to maintain a healthy, sanitary environment for your rabbits.
Straight Forward Assembly
We provide a link to our YouTube video which takes you step-by-step through the assembly process. Anyone with any DIY capability will have no trouble seeing up their new hutch. Cage Clip Pliers, and Cage Ring Pliers are required for assembly. The only other tool required is a cordless drill driver with a 3/8” hex driver bit to install the screws. We furnish all screws, clips, rings, and hardware.
