RABBIT CAGE DOOR TURN LOCK — MADE IN USA
A simple, durable latch designed for wire rabbit cage doors. Made from heavy 90 ounce galvanized USA steel and proudly manufactured in the USA, this latch provides a secure closure without complicated hardware.
The latch can be installed two ways: bend the mounting tabs around the cage wire for doors that swing inward, or attach the latch to the cage frame for doors that swing outward. The riveted handle works like an old-fashioned turn button, rotating into position to catch the cage wire and securely hold the door closed.
Ideal for commercial rabbit cages, replacement doors, and custom cage construction.
INSTALLATION
For doors that swing inward:
1. Position the latch on the cage door with the mounting tabs around the appropriate cage wire.
2. Using pliers, bend the tabs securely around the wire to hold the latch in place.
3. Close the door and rotate the riveted handle into position so it catches the adjoining cage wire.
4. Check that the door is securely latched and the handle rotates freely.
For doors that swing outward:
1. Position the latch on the cage frame where the riveted handle can rotate over and catch the door wire.
2. Bend the mounting tabs around the cage wire to secure the latch to the frame.
3. Close the door and rotate the handle into position over the door wire.
4. Check that the handle securely catches the door and prevents it from opening.
Tip: Position the latch so the turn-button handle has a firm wire to catch while allowing the handle to rotate freely between the open and closed positions.
